Welcome to the wonderful world of recording family memories. There are so many ways to share memories about and with the people we love. I have always loved to write and that really was my first avenue – letters, stories, writing classes. Then I discovered video in the mid-90’s and realized that it offered whole new dimensions. Video captures the essence of a baby, a child, or an elder: the twinkle in the eye, inflection of the voice and the mannerisms that are unique to the person.
So in 1995 I made the leap to video and have been preserving family memories ever since. You could say I have a passion for it. I have found my Right Livelihood.
Right Livelihood is when the way you make your living
* brings you joy and satisfaction
* gives you no need to separate what you do from who you are
* does no harm to nature or other beings
* adds to the quality of life for all
I just created a “videolog” you might want to check out. See it at reflectingonalifetime.blogspot.com
